Additionally, you will be asked to select your current Career Status. The myriad of benefits of Completed.com are relevant to just about anyone, whether you are happily employed, actively seeking new career opportunities, or perhaps somewhere in the middle.
On the following screen, for your profile picture, we will ask you to upload a photo of yourself. We advise using a headshot in which your appearance is neat and professional. Avoid using a photo that is blurry or too far away, one with a busy background, or one in which there are several other people included. After all, you certainly would not want anyone to mistakenly credit all of your accomplishments for someone else!
Next, the Social Media section will give you the option of adding up to 7 social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram) to your Completed.com account, in addition to your primary website. If you have an existing profile on any or all of the aforementioned social networks, this option will enable all of your posts and updates on Completed to automatically be shared with your connections on each of these sites. You can enable or disable this option for each site at any time by toggling the gray 'On/Off' switch next to that particular site's name. Once you have connected all of the accounts that you wish to share your Completed.com updates on, press 'Complete.'
Each Completed profile must have at least 500 words of unique, detailed content. As you enter information about yourself, be sure to avoid copying and pasting from another site. Your Completed personal brand should be as unique as you are!
To help you make the most of your account, we created an initial checklist of goals that will cover the key essentials of a comprehensive Completed.com account. You will see this list under the heading Initial Goals when you log in to your account. In addition to adding your profile photo and location, these tasks include adding your biographical information and education history, as well as at least five core competencies.
Once you complete the goals that we have suggested, you can move on to creating your own personalized list of goals. This list should include your daily to-do tasks, all the way up to more long-term goals such as completing a major business deal or earning a new certification in your field.
Once you successfully complete one of your goals, you have the option to list it publicly. By doing so, this goal will turn into an achievement that is listed on your personal brand profile. It will also show up in the Activity Stream section of your profile.
Remember to keep your goals and achievements up-to-date. This will help you stay on track, and allow you to show off what you've accomplished!
